Actively practicing Deputy Chief Medical Examiner outside of Houston and locum tenens (part-time) forensic pathologist in several jurisdictions.

Over 14 years of staff forensic pathologist experience and performed over 2500 autopsies, including over 400 homicide cases.

Fellow in the National Association of Medical Examiners, American Academy of Forensic Sciences, International Association of Coroners and Medical Examiners, College of American Pathologists, and American Society for Clinical Pathologists.

Diplomate in the American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigators.

Active medical licensure in 9 states.

Expert witness testimony in Federal, military, state, and local jurisdictions for criminal and civil litigation.

Presenter at numerous Forensic Pathology Conferences, training seminars, and other training/educational venues.

Multiple publications in peer reviewed literature.

Awards include the “A” Proficiency Designator, Order of Medical Military Merit (O2M3), Defense Meritorious Service Medal, and FBI Directors Award for Outstanding Criminal Investigation.
