Retired LTC in the US Army; Former Director of the Office of the Armed Forces Medical Examiner; Chief of Pathology Martin Army Community Hospital, Fort Benning Georgia; Deputy and Regional Medical Examiner at the Armed Forces Medical Examiner System.

 

Actively practicing Deputy Chief Medical Examiner outside of Houston and locum tenens (part-time) forensic pathologist in several jurisdictions.

 

Over 14 years of staff forensic pathologist experience and performed over 2500 autopsies, including over 400 homicide cases.

 

Fellow in the National Association of Medical Examiners, American Academy of Forensic Sciences, International Association of Coroners and Medical Examiners, College of American Pathologists, and American Society for Clinical Pathologists.

 

Diplomate in the American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigators.

 

Active medical licensure in 9 states.

 

Expert witness testimony in Federal, military, state, and local jurisdictions for criminal and civil litigation.

 

Presenter at numerous Forensic Pathology Conferences, training seminars, and other training/educational venues.
