Experience
Registered Nurse — Post-Acute Rehabilitation, Greentree Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation, Pittsburgh, PA (October 2024 – present). Direct care for up to 30 residents on a high-acuity post-acute rehabilitation unit within a 155-bed long-term care facility. Manages medically complex residents including post-fracture, post-operative, IV antibiotic therapy, TPN and tracheostomy care. Performs comprehensive assessments of functional capacity, cognition, mobility and medical complexity; documents objective clinical findings relevant to utilization review; coordinates interdisciplinary care and discharge planning.
Director of Nursing, Greentree Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation (May 2024 – October 2024). Directed all clinical operations for a 155-bed long-term care and post-acute rehabilitation facility with an average daily census of 130–150 residents. Supervised the entire nursing operation including 3 RN managers and 40–50 CNA, LPN and RN staff plus agency staffing. Oversaw regulatory compliance with local, state and federal standards, led QAPI initiatives, and developed policies and procedures to mitigate clinical and regulatory risk.

COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit Nurse — Founding Volunteer, West Penn Hospital — Allegheny Health Network (March 2020 – May 2020). Founding member of the hospital's newly established COVID-19 ICU, frequently in a charge nurse role. Helped develop, test and refine bedside protocols for severe COVID-19 illness; established infection prevention and isolation practices; managed patients requiring advanced respiratory support, invasive monitoring and continuous hemodynamic management.

Cared for complex patients including CABG, cardiogenic shock, post-catheterization, post-arrest, sepsis, multi-organ failure, respiratory failure, GI bleed, arrhythmia and hypertensive crisis. Managed CRRT, Swan-Ganz catheters, Impella, ventilators, central and arterial lines, and titration of vasoactive, sedation and paralytic drips; rotating member of the hospital code response team.
